HOMEMADE
F.A.Q - VAL THORENS KINDERGARTEN & DAY CARE
At what age can your child start attending Montana kindergarten and daycare?
The Val Thorens esf welcomes children from the age of 3 months to 17 months in the Montana nursery, a fun and safe area dedicated to the very young.

From 18 to 36 months, your children have access to the Montana kindergarten and discover new creative and manual activities with our team of professional nursery nurses.

From the age of 2 and a half, your budding adventurers can be introduced to the joys of sliding with Mini Piou. Accompanied by experienced instructors, they can take advantage of the fresh air to try out their first slides on skis.
What items should your child bring to the nursery?
In the interests of your children, and so that we can pass on all the important information, you must provide us with an up-to-date health record and proof of vaccinations. Otherwise, we will ask you for a medical certificate stating that your child is fit to live in a group setting.

In order for us to be able to continue any medical treatments and protocols during nursery hours, you will need to provide us with the corresponding prescription and medication.

Cuddly toys, dummies, baby milk, a change of clothes and nappy change or even a sleeping bag, we invite you to slip all the essentials for the little ones into their belongings to reassure them and take care of them in a simple way during their daycare.
How should you dress your child for nursery and kindergarten?
In our secure day nursery or kindergarten, your children will alternate between indoor and outdoor activities during their time with our esf Val Thorens teams.

We therefore recommend that you bring comfortable clothing for indoors (long-sleeved t-shirt, jumper and jogging pants or leggings) and warm clothing for outdoors (ski suit, gloves, snow boots, sunglasses or goggles, hat and sun cream).
Kindergarten & Nursery: what meals are available for children?
The meals offered in our Val Thorens day nursery are prepared on site, using fresh, local produce and well-balanced menus adapted to the age of your children.

Each week, you can consult the Mini-Club Montana menu and discover the tasty dishes your budding adventurer has in store!

When you book your childcare, you can also tell us about any food intolerances or allergies. This is essential information, which will enable us to adapt your child's meals to suit your child's needs.

Chef
I am a professional chef and have been working in the day care for 6 years.

I put my heart into cooking for your child small dishes adapted to their age and dietary constraints. I work systematically with fresh produce, preferably local, to be able to serve quality dishes to the children we welcome.

Don't forget to fill in the allergy form so that I can take them into account.
